Welcome to Room 17's blog. This is a space where we share our thinking and learning. We do try and spell words correctly but this blog is a learning tool and if we get a word wrong it means we still need to learn it, which is a good thing.
We would really appreciate your support by adding comments to our posts and hope that you enjoy sharing in our learning journey.

Pepeha with Room 6
We have been learning about our pepeha - which is how we introduce ourselves in maori. We invited Room 6 to our class to share their mihimihi with us and help us with our pronunciation of the maori words.
Eli - we are so proud of how you shared your pepeha with all the children. You showed courage when you did this. Ka pai. :)
