The 'Annie' Production

We watched the 'Annie' show on Friday and it was awesome.  Our senior students did an amazing job of performing the show.  I loved the singing, how the backdrops kept changing and of course watching Alex be 'Drake'.  What was your favourite part of the production?

Diversity of Celebrations

Art Gallery Visit Today!!

Room 17 is visiting the art gallery today with Mrs Graham.  We are leaving at 11.10am.  Don't forget to wear sensible walking shoes and bring a booster seat if you are 6 years old and it looks like it will rain.  (Mrs Board said it won't and she is our weather expert!)

The Zoo

What a great day we had yesterday!  We were so lucky with the weather too.  What was the highlight of your day at Hamilton Zoo?

We are going to the zoo on Wednesday!  What are you most excited our trip to the zoo?  I can't wait to see the giraffes.  I hope we get to feed them some carrots.

The Olympic Games

The Olympic Games are nearly finished.  There has been lots of coverage of the games on TV.  What would be one of the most special moments of these games that you will remember?  For me it is the courageous Nikki Hamblin who stopped and helped another runner finish the race after they tripped up.
