Torty the tortoise came to our school today.  She is nearly 200 years old!  She is so famous that there is a picture book about her and articles on the internet.

The Weekend

What did you get up to on the weekend?  It was a lovely sunny weekend.  I watched Alex play cricket and did some baking.

Charlie's Money Making Ideas

Charlie has been working hard on the weekend to make some pocket money.  Last weekend he set up a lemonade stand with the help of his dad.  The lemonade was delicious!

Crumpet the Cat

We performed Crumpet the Cat on Monday in our assembly.  We made cat masks and were great actors!

What is your favourite part of the shared book?

We are bucket fillers!

We have been reading about being 'bucket fillers'.  To be a bucket filler you need to be kind and treat others how you would like to be treated.

Haylin won our first 'bucket filler' award for the year by being kind to a new person in our class and reading to him!

Trace's Sunflower
